Qupdatessbox VPN

Dear Partners,

From October 1 of 2024 the Qupdatessbox will only work with a secure connection over VPN, only the users that has configured this access will be able to use the Qupdatessbox. Quapdatessbox will manage the VPN without any need of configuration from the user.

And this is a simple manual from how to achieve this.

Account settings

The username to login in the Qupdatessbox is the same of your Quatenus account.

For the VPN you don't need to use the @quatenus.....

Example:

Quatenus login: testeteste@teste.zz

VPN LOGIN: testeteste

DataCenter

Please choose your datacenter

Login phase
Please fill your Quatenus username and password.

After fill the login information, press the login button.

At this time the Qupdatessbox will check if you already have the correct configurations.

In case of you don't have the correct VPN settings you will be asked to fill fill the correct data.

VPN Quatenus Credentials

In this phase you need to fill your Quatenus credentials.

As explained earlier, you user name is not exactly the same.

If your user name is: testeteste@teste.zz you will just user the part until the @, it will be: testeteste

Select the checkbox: "Save this user name and password for the following users:

-> Me Only

After press connect, Qupdatessbox will check if everything is correctly configured.

Will validate username and password. Will check if you have privileges to user the services.

After this, your Operating System will have a new VPN.

From now on, and since there is a VPN connection to work with qupdatessbox and Quatenus services, when exiting from Qupdatessbox you will be prompted if want to disconnect the Quatenus VPN or want to keep it? If you want to keep connected to the Quatenus VPN, please disable the option "Disconnect VPN: 'Quatenus INT VPN'

If you want to disconnect, just press the "Yes" button.

In case of disconnect VPN, next time you start qupdatessbox, you will need to reconnect VPN. If you are already connect to it, it will be direct, with no prompt for connect to the VPN.

Now in the low right corner we will have a VPN connection status.

Green VPN Ok

RED VPN not ok

When qupdatessbox detects that the VPN is disconnected it will prompt for a reconnection

Just need to press retry for the system tries to reconnect the Quatenus VPN.

And then the VPN status will get back to green if everything ok.
