GV300CAN Upgrade Fw and Backupserver activation

Dear Partners,

This is a simple manual to know how to upgrade the Firmware version of the GV300CAN and activate the backup server for this specific model.

In Qupdatessbox and search for all devices, then filter only for the SSQ-GV3C.

It will listings all the GV300C. Then we can check for the FW versions.

From here we will need to get the correct link for the FW upgrade.

As we can see in the above image the first device has the firmware: 080C, so we will need to send the follwing command:

This command should be sent over tcp, so please go to generic commands:

Press Generic Batch and past the command that was copied from the table according to respective firmware.

Practical example:

Device has the Firmware 0C10, so from the table we copy: AT+GTUPD=gv300can,0,1,20,0,,,http://54.72.114.246/quatenus10/Downloads/Fw/QL/GV300CAN/GV300CANR00_0C10_to_0D01.bin,,0,,,0001$

Paste the command inside the text box and press send.

From the manufacturer manual, there are several steps.

1 - Initiation of the Update Process

2 - Confirmation of the Update Process

3 - Download of the Update Package

4 - Download of the Update Package

Report from device:

The next report about the update stage, will be the installation process.

Then the confirmation if the upgrade was successful or not.

After the confirmation that the device has the correct firmware (0D01) we will need to activate the backupserver.

So we will need to send the following command to the device via TCP.

Paste the following command in the text box:

AT+GTSRI=gv3can,7,,,,,,,,,1,,,,,,,,,FFFF$

Then if the device is communicating the device should respond with a ACK for that command.
